The Healing Benefits of Cocoa

A lifelong cancer prevention advocate and childhood tumor survivor, Dr. Ding founded and directs the Campaign for Cancer Prevention, with 6.2 million members, and is Director of Epidemiology with MicroClinic International, and a Soros Fellow. He is the lead researcher of a Journal of Nutrition meta-analysis on cocoa’s multiple benefits for cardiovascular and metabolic health that incorporated 24 papers with 1,106 participants.

Dr. Ding’s studies show that cocoa raises “good” HDL cholesterol, lowers “bad” LDL cholesterol, improves blood flow, insulin resistance, and cognitive function.
